Opened last November, the trendy Sahbi Sahbi restaurant offers dishes typical of Moroccan cuisine. In terms of architecture, it revisits the codes of traditional Moroccan architecture with a contemporary twist. We were invited to a delicious recipe, unveiling an exclusive tableware collection for Sahbi Sahbi.
After Bô Zin and Grand Café de La Poste, Helena Paraboschi and Pierre Pirajean, with Sahbi Sahbi, recall the local excellence that Morocco can demonstrate in terms of craftsmanship. Here, the cuisine and service are entirely carried out by women: a unique concept in Marrakech. For Sahbi Sahbi, Studio KO has brought together heritage and modernity. Warm tones, ochre shades, zelliges, and pottery blend graphic and textured effects with foreign inspirations, anchoring Moroccan aesthetics in a contemporary era. Inside, lighting effects, reliefs, and natural tones tell the story of traditional know-how. As for tableware, dishes are served on Chabi Chic tableware, a collection we specially created for the restaurant.
We are unveiling a tableware collection in authentic terracotta or a more contemporary black. The collection is part of a soft palette of earth tones, a reference to traditional materials and know-how. On the restaurant tables, beldi cups, bowls and traditional tagine dishes coexist, in a palette of warm tones, with shades inspired by nature, earth, sand… A meaningful collaboration for Chabi Chic, which has been committed to modernizing and updating the know-how of Moroccan craftsmanship since its beginnings. A few steps from our Chabi Chic Majorelle boutique, Sahbi Sahbi is an address to discover in La Ville Rouge! Love at first sight guaranteed!
