Tutti Frutti: A Colorful Celebration of Our Mediterranean Culture
Hello everyone, this is Vanessa, your artistic director at Chabi Chic. I'm delighted to tell you about our latest design, Tutti Frutti. This project particularly inspired me because it invites us to explore a different side of our Mediterranean heritage.
Moving away from traditional Moroccan architectural decoration motifs, we decided to tell another story about our shared cultures. Often thought of as fruit, it's a uniquely Italian specialty, but it's an integral part of the entire Mediterranean region, including Morocco! From lush orchards to the colorful stalls of street vendors, fruit is everywhere, adding a touch of life to our streets.
For me, they represent much more than a simple delicacy; they are the finishing touch to our meals, often placed with humility on all the round tables of the kingdom. It was therefore obvious to offer an artistic interpretation of this tradition, freed by the talented brush of our artisans. With their tangy colors and delicately curved foliage, the Tutti Frutti motif literally makes the fruits dance on our plates!
This illustrative chapter also provides an opportunity to introduce some long-awaited new shapes to our collections. Pasta plates, pie dishes, generous fruit bowls... our family of shapes is expanding, offering even more possibilities for celebrating your meals in style.
